In cricket, a “Jaffa” is a perfect delivery and, at Jaffa at the Queen’s Park Oval, the home of Trinidad cricket, chef Joe Brown executes several perfect deliveries, over and over, like Jaffa’s luxury buffet weekday lunch (with a sushi bar on Fridays) and, on Wednesdays, Port of Spain’s only British high tea with scones and clotted cream. Weekday lunch buffets are the run-up to Sunday’s themed brunches from Jaffa's international world cuisine. Joe Brown can’t help but bring the fine dining in his DNA to Jaffa’s menu. Everything is cooked shortly before being served. (Roast beef, for example, is done in three separate roasts spread over luncheon, ensuring yours is piping hot, whenever you come in.) Jaffa can be booked for dinner for parties of ten or more and the Queen’s Park Cricket Club’s Century Ballroom serves up to 230. Off-site, white glove catering brings Jaffa service and standards directly to your home or event venue anywhere in Trinidad.
