A brave new world of fine dining

The Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is an impressive property, by anyone’s reckoning. The sweeping drive up the main entrance alone produces “Oohs!” and “Aaahs!” In Kali’na, they have created a fine dining restaurant to match the resort. Kali’na is named for the first Tobagonians, Amerindians, who were known for their artisanship and maximization of local produce, like cassava. Kali’na’s chefs take their namesakes’ approach to heart.

Kali’na’s menu is a reflection of Tobago’s history combined with the best modern culinary trends. Kali’na’s chefs draw from both the Indian, African, European
and Asian populations that arrived in Tobago and the clean, crisp lines of modern European and North American fine dining trends to create new dishes that
are bold, explosive in flavour and almost addictive. Even the vegetarian menu is delicious!
