Since 1975, the charitable, non-profit Catholic lay organization, Living Water Community, has served the poor and underprivileged. It helps keep down its costs by selling, at modest prices, extremely good food and drink at its coffee shop. Retreat there for a little peace and quiet – and fresh home-made pastries, sandwiches and local lunch. The community's caring quality makes it the ideal place to find an encouraging word or a quiet spiritual recharge – except at midday, when the lunch-faithful flock there in droves, for home-cooked, healthy meals (which they can have as much as or as little as they like as it's priced by the pound). Enjoy good food with the blessing of the knowledge that you’re helping feed a less fortunate other.
